Integrity Canine Puppy Training Programs

Real Training. Real Results. For Real Life

The first few months of your puppy's life set the foundation for everything that follows. Integrity Canine offers professional puppy training in Morristown, TN designed to build confidence, establish boundaries, and give your pup the structure they need before bad habits take hold.

Led by Dan Cliff, a retired police K9 handler who has trained dogs for Navy SEAL teams and law enforcement agencies, our puppy programs bring the same real-world expertise to your family dog. Early obedience isn't just about commands. It's about building a relationship your dog can trust and a dog you can rely on.

Why Start Puppy Training Early?

There's a critical socialization window between 8 and 16 weeks — and most owners don't know it's closing. Puppies who miss structured exposure to people, environments, and basic commands during this window are harder to train later and more likely to develop anxiety, reactivity, or stubbornness.

Professional puppy training in Morristown, TN through Integrity Canine gets ahead of those problems before they start. We don't just teach sit and down — we teach your puppy how to think, how to respond, and how to carry themselves in the real world.

Why Integrity Canine For Puppy Training Near You?

Dan Cliff isn't a weekend hobbyist who watched a few YouTube videos and bought a vest. He spent decades as a police K9 handler, training working dogs for law enforcement and military units, including dogs deployed with U.S. Navy SEAL teams. When he retired from law enforcement, he brought that same standard of training to families across East Tennessee.

That experience shows up in how your puppy is handled — with clarity, patience, and the kind of calm authority that dogs naturally respond to. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just real training that holds up in the real world.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age should I start puppy training?

The earlier, the better. The optimal socialization window is roughly 8–16 weeks — this is when puppies are most receptive to new experiences, people, and learning. That said, our Puppy Lessons and Puppy Camp are appropriate for puppies up to about 5–6 months. After that, we typically transition into our private lesson or board and train programs depending on where your dog is behaviorally.

What's the difference between Puppy Lessons and Puppy Camp?

Puppy Lessons are private, owner-present sessions where you train alongside your puppy with Dan guiding the process. You're learning just as much as your dog. Puppy Camp is an immersive weekly stay where your puppy lives and trains here, ideal for busy schedules or when your puppy needs more consistent structure than home life can provide.

Do I need to do anything before the first session?

For Puppy Lessons, just bring your pup and a good attitude. For Puppy Camp, your puppy will need to be current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations. We'll walk you through everything during the intake process.

Will my puppy learn off-leash obedience?

Not during the puppy programs and intentionally so. Off-leash control requires a level of foundation that puppies are still building. Our puppy programs focus on building that foundation correctly: name recognition, basic commands, crate habits, leash manners, and confidence. Off-leash work comes later, either through continued private lessons or a board and train program.
